Malindo Air has unveiled its new route to Vietnam yesterday, as the carrier launched its direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang, Vietnam.
It said this marked Malindo Air’s third destination in Vietnam after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
“The flight will commence with frequency of three times weekly from Dec 1 until 8, 2019; and then increases to four times weekly from Dec 9 until 12, 2019; six times weekly from Dec 13, 2019 until Jan 19, 2020; and the frequency will eventually increase to daily flight from Jan 20, 2020, onwards,” it said in a statement.
In celebrating the new route, Malindo Air is offering a special introductory all-in fare for Kuala Lumpur-Da Nang from as low as RM669 one-way for Business Class, and from RM179 for a one-way all-in Economy Class fare.
The special fare would be available for booking from now until Dec 15, 2019, for the travel period from Dec 15, 2019 to Aug 19, 2020.
Chief executive officer Capt Mushafiz Mustafa Bakri said the launch of direct flight to Da Nang from Kuala Lumpur is a strong reflection of Malindo Air’s continued efforts to strengthen the airline’s regional foothold.
”We are delighted to launch direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang, a renowned historical city with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of Hue, the Old Town of Hoi An, and the My Son ruins,” he said.
Malindo Air is a Malaysian-based airline with main hubs at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Subang Skypark, Selangor.
