Tropical storm Kalmaegi is heading away from Malaysia from its last location this morning at Northeast of Samar Island, the Philippines.

According to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department, it is now heading northwest at a speed of 15km/h, with the maximum speed reaching 65km/h.

The location nearest to the storm in Malaysia is northeast of Sandakan in Sabah, 1405 km away.

The tropical storm therefore brings no significant impact to Malaysia.
