VOLVO Car Malaysia Sdn Bhd launched a new 3S Centre in Ipoh with dealer-partner iRoll Ipoh Sdn Bhd.

It also launched a new showroom in Ipoh recently as the premium carmaker sought to provide their customers in Perak with more access to the brand and its services.

Operated by its dealer-partner, iRoll Ipoh, the showroom adds to Volvo Car Malaysia’s dealership network. The showroom is located near the airport, as well as the Ipoh City and Country Club.

About 250 people visited the showroom after it was launched last Friday.

Catering to the growing demand for the brand in Perak, the new 3S Centre (sales, service and spare parts) features a well-appointed, Scandinavian-inspired showroom that houses the brand’s latest models and a fully equipped service centre with a total of four repair bays, the company said in a statement.

The models on sale are the Volvo XC60, Volvo S90 and Volvo XC40, as well as the refreshed Volvo XC90 and the new Volvo S60.

The new 3S Centre adheres to Volvo Car Malaysia’s latest retail standard is called Volvo retail experience (VRE). VRE focuses on the brand cornerstones more fully and serves customers in four main areas — the contemporary luxury experience, understanding, interaction and wellbeing — all of which best communicates the brand’s Scandinavian-inspired values.

“We are extremely glad for this opportunity and are looking forward to expanding our services and providing quality experiences throughout our customers ownership journey,” said Volvo Car Malaysia MD Nalin Jain.

“We are proud that Volvo Car Malaysia has chosen to partner with us in Ipoh and together, we intend to cater to the ever-growing customer demand for Volvo’s exciting line of products and services,” said iRoll Ipoh MD Tan Loon Shen.

Volvo Car Malaysia has been enjoying a surge in sales volume thanks to a stronger retail presence — a result of Volvo Car Malaysia’s transformation plan. In the first half of 2019, Volvo Car Malaysia saw a 60% growth in sales, after growing 28% last year.
