NEXT year, Malaysia will welcome millions of foreigners to our shores as part of Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020).
The Visit Malaysia Year programme had in the past helped put the country on the global tourism map, turning Malaysia as one of the world’s most exciting destinations.

SPARTAN 2020
Feb 1-29: Spartan is the No 1 endurance sport brand worldwide with the best obstacle course race with over 200 races in 42 countries.

Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta
Feb 9-10: It’s a one-of-a-kind experience and the only hot air balloon festival on an island! The Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is expected to feature about 15 hot air balloons by international and local balloonists over the two-day festival.

Pasir Gudang World Kite Festival
Feb 26-March 1: An annual event, this festival sees kites in various shapes and sizes soaring the skies. There will also be kite-decorating demonstrations, food fairs, entertainment and so much more!

Malaysia Fabulous Food Hunt VM2020
March 1-Nov 30: Malaysia Fabulous Food Hunt (MFFH) 2020 is an extension of the food
explorace programme of KL Fabulous Food Hunt. MFFH will be organised in five different zones: North, Central, South, East Coast and East Malaysia, and the final competition will be held in KL. Top winners for each zone will be competing in the “Best of the Best” category.

Selangor Food Mega Festival 2020
March 1: A programme that aims to promote the state as the traditional food paradise of Asia, drawing foodies from around the world for a gastronomic feast of Selangor’s culinary scene.

Pesta Angin Timur 2020 (Perlis East Wind Festival)
March 6-8: The Perlis East Wind Festival gets its name from the winter-to-summer cycle brought by the wind from the east to the state of Perlis. Against the backdrop of the village, the programme implemented in the plains has been able to bring out the unique way of life of the peasant community in the northern peninsula.

Melaka International Air Carnival (MIAC) 2020
March 27-29: The MIAC 2020 is an event for the local and international aviation personnel, military, police force, air force, rescue teams and groups. It is also a platform for all aviation industries to meet and showcase their prowess.

Pesta Kalimaran
March 31: Pesta Kalimaran is an annual cultural celebration of the Murut community. This festival celebrates the unique arts and culture of the Murut community, the third-largest ethnic group in Sabah.
