Chinese kegler, Du Jian-chao clinched the men’s stepladder title after defeating Lin Pai-feng of Taiwan; 491-455 in the final, while Shusaku Asato of Japan, settled for bronze after losing to Du; 234-256 in the semi-finals.

Malaysia amassed six golds, one silver and four bronze medals, followed by South Korea in second (3-4-4), while China finished third (2-1-1).

Malaysia also won the men’s overall category after collecting three golds and one bronze, with Timmy Tan the best performer, clinching two golds through the men’s singles and the men’s All-Event.
