In an official statement today, PKNS said the bus was ferrying 35 PKNS staff when the accident occurred around 11 am local time.

“They were on their way to Cappadocia from Pamukkale. One of the staff, Azalan Miswan, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.45 am, while four others sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Afyonkarahisar Hospital for treatment.

“The rest of them escaped with minor injuries and in stable condition,” the statement said.
