LOW-COST carrier, AirAsia Group Bhd, has been named Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline and Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew at the World Travel Awards Asia and Oceania 2019.

AirAsia in a statement yesterday said the airline emerged as winners ahead of regional players such as Scoot Tigerair Pte Ltd, Jetstar Airways Pte Ltd, SpiceJet Ltd, Nok Air and FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd.

It added that this also extended the airline’s winning streak by taking out top honours at the award for the seventh year in a row. — Bernama
