Twitter and the dashboard management app for Twitter, called TweetDeck, have gone down for a large number of users after the social media giant suffered global outages.
“We have been experiencing outages across Twitter and TweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, or viewing DMs.
“We are currently working on a fix, and should be back to normal soon,” Twitter Support posted a notice on its site at midday.
Earlier, the Tweetdeck was down and the issue appears to have started at 8 pm on Tuesday in certain regions and, as of 11 am on Wednesday, Bernama found that users attempting to login to TweetDeck were being directed to the regular Twitter website.
According to Outage.Report, the site reportedly could not be accessed across the Asia Pacific, Europe and the North and South America.
