PG Group founder and executive chairman Datuk Louis Ng (picture) said the company has achieved RM15 million in sales and it is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce platforms in Malaysia.
“We are definitely growing exponentially, and I think we will achieve our sales target for this year which is about RM20 million.
“As we grow, we see more people embarking on online activities and online shopping, especially among the young people.
“This will help our business because we always provide attractive deals at PG Mall every day,” he told The Malaysian Reserve after a press conference in Kuala Lumpur last Friday.
He added that online shopping is the future trend, where people are spoiled for choices and can compare prices between different e-commerce platforms.
“PG Mall has tremendous daily deals which offers guaranteed lowest prices and our shoppers can purchase incredible items with their fingertips.
“Ever since the ‘ConsuMerchant’ incentive was introduced, e-commerce has become a profitable platform for both merchants and buyers to earn handsome rewards.
“Here at PG Mall, we want to enhance the online shopping experience by providing cashback of up to 3.5% when you refer PG Mall to your friends and family,” he said.
PG Mall has partnered up with iPrice Group Sdn Bhd, Selluseller, Boost, Involve Asia Technologies Sdn Bhd, J&T Express (M) Sdn Bhd and Easyparcel to fulfil the demands of the modern-day shoppers.
According to PG Group, the online marketplace is looking forward to providing better shopping and trading experiences for both shoppers and merchants through the partnership.
“With iPrice, we can reach and connect to more potential shoppers from a wider area, while having Boost on our platform will benefit the shoppers purchasing with us.
“Through a robust partnership with Selluseller, we easily be onboard top sellers in Malaysia and with Involve Asia, we will achieve our advertising and marketing goals.
“In delivering the goods safe and sound, we have reliable couriers like J&T Express and Easyparcel to benefit our shoppers in terms of providing express delivery,” Ng said.
Ng added that the company is planning to work with Grab Pay and QR Pay soon to ease the payment method among shoppers.
“The current strategic partnership with these key partners would indeed be another milestone in PG Mall’s success stories,” he said.
PG Mall has increasingly evolved since it started operations in 2017, with a customer base of 150,000.
The online marketplace has products ranging from electronic gadgets, groceries, jewellery, kitchen appliances to e-tickets and vouchers.
It is operated by PG Mall Sdn Bhd and backed by Public Gold Marketing Sdn Bhd, which is the leading pioneer in Asean’s metal industry.
