Petronas ranked most attractive employer for 2019

This is its 2nd time taking the No 1 spot as the Most Attractive Employer in Malaysia

RANDSTAD — one of the world’s leading human resources solutions agencies — has crowned Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) the Most Attractive Employer in Malaysia for 2019. This is Petronas’ second time taking the No 1 spot as the Most Attractive Employer list in Malaysia.

Other homegrown brands that were ranked in the top 10 Most Attractive Employers list are AirAsia Group Bhd and Sime Darby Bhd.

The winners of the 2019 Employer Brand Awards are selected from the 75 largest commercial companies to work for in Malaysia, based on workforce size.

The other two companies in the top three list of most attractive employers this year are Shell Malaysia and Nestlé (M) Bhd.

They were presented with the awards for receiving the highest attractiveness scores in the Employer Brand Research study.

Other companies in the top 10 ranks are Intel Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd, IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd and Sony EMCS (M) Sdn Bhd.

The 2019 Randstad Employer Brand Research explored workers’ perceptions of employer brands, providing a unique understanding of employee and jobseeker drivers.

The research is the most representative and independent employer brand research in the world, providing insights from more than 200,000 respondents and 6,162 companies in 32 markets worldwide, including 2,504 employees and job seekers in Malaysia.
