TM One targets higher revenue base with new 10T smart solutions

TELEKOM Malaysia Bhd’s (TM) enterprise and public sector business solution arm TM One is targeting a higher revenue base this year with the launch of its 10 transformative smart solutions (10T).

TM One CEO Azizi A Hadi (picture) said the 10T initiatives will create greater value for its business customers across all its seven verticals to transition into Industry 4.0, and subsequently increase TM One’s contribution to group revenue compared to 35% of the RM12 billion total revenue last year.

“We have a customer base of 11,000, 4,000 (in the) public sector; these are ministries, state governments and local councils. We also have large enterprises,” Azizi told reporters at TM’s Smart Industry Showcase in Menara TM, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday.

The 10T solutions comprise four clusters — Connected City and Living Solutions, Connected Factory Solutions, Connected Utilities Solutions and Connected Agriculture Solutions.

“What differentiates us from other smart services providers in the market is our complete end-to-end infrastructure in our Hyper Connected Ecosystem.

“The complete elements in the ecosystem enable our customers to collect, store, process and analyse data, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to produce valuable insights, so they can address their pain points and deliver the best experience for their customers,” Azizi added.

TM One is the business-to-business arm fronting the enterprise and public sectors for TM. It is a digital enabler for the secure Hyper Connected Eco- system, empowering enterprises and the public sector to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities.

Meanwhile, TM COO Imri Mokhtar said the group will continuously develop and deliver digital solutions to fulfil the dynamic needs of various industries.

“The 10 smart solutions showcased yesterday were developed with our customers through a deep under- standing of your needs, addressing your pain points and enabling you to optimise your efficiency towards maximising profit.

“TM One’s Smart Industry Showcase is an avenue for TM to demonstrate that we are truly an enabler of Malaysia’s digital nation aspiration — enabling a more digital society, digital business and digital government,” Imri said.

TM’s Smart Industry Showcase, which was held for two days, allowed visitors to experience first-hand TM One’s Internet of Things capabilities in a real industrial and smart city setting.

The 10T solutions are Smart Home Solutions, Smart Building Management Solutions, Smart Street Lights Solutions, Smart Parking Solutions and Smart Traffic Lights Solutions — which all fall under the Connected City and Living Solutions cluster.
