MALAYSIA’S first and largest homegrown halal fast-food chain, Marrybrown, announced the latest addition to its outlets with a grand opening at Caltex Sungai Choh, Rawang.
The new outlet is the first ever in the Rawang district and is built in collaboration with Malaysia’s premium petroleum brand by Chevron Malaysia Ltd, Caltex.
Marrybrown CEO Datuk Joshua Liew said the new Marrybrown outlet not only stamps another important milestone for the brand, but also creates an opportunity for the community there to come together as a family and enjoy a great dining experience at Marrybrown.
“We are very proud to collaborate with Caltex Malaysia to open Marrybrown’s first outlet in Rawang, Selangor. We are very eager to give the people here a great taste of Marrybrown’s meals and was grateful when the opportunity to collaborate with Caltex came along.
“Together, we hope to give our customers the best experiences where they can come to refuel their vehicles while enjoying a wonderful meal with family and friends at Marrybrown,” Liew said.
A town rich in history, Rawang is a developing settlement not only thriving for its industrial activities and factories where people often go for business and site visits, but is also undergoing a rapid development which has attracted many property developers to explore its potential as a flourishing city — with plenty of opportunities and potentials in the area, especially for fast-food chains, as locals and visitors are always on the lookout for good meals.
Chevron Malaysia country chairman Shahid Ahmed shared the same sentiments of the outlet opening and asserted that the collaboration ultimately aims to provide the people of Rawang with a hassle-free option through top quality services by both brands.
“Here at Caltex, it has always been our utmost priority to put people first, be it our employees, customers or the community.
“It is such an honour to collaborate with a highly successful local brand that shares the same principles as us — in working towards empowering a community by providing great products with fast and friendly services.
“We hope that through this partnership, our heritage will continue to expand as we strive to give our customers the best experiences when it comes to convenience and comfort, all outletin one place,” Shahid said.
Liew said with the opening of the new Marrybrown outlet at Caltex Sungai Choh, food lovers will now get to enjoy Marrybrown’s various specialty menu such as Marrybrown Crispy Chicken, Nasi Marrybrown, Mi Kari MB, Chicken Burger and many more as the outlet operates daily from 10am to 10pm.
“We are always looking for an opportunity to expand and share the great offerings of Marrybrown and we believe that Rawang is a great place to do so.
“In the fourth quarter this year, we will be launching a few more outlets around Malaysia specifically in Johor and the Klang Valley — expanding their presence to give more communities varieties of easy-to-get meals that will fulfil an experience which they can only obtain at Marrybrown.
“We hope our customers will continue to support us as we venture into this exciting chapter,” Liew added.
In conjunction with the outlet opening in Caltex Sungai Choh, customers enjoyed limited-time offerings from last Thursday to Saturday where they flashed Marrybrown’s Instagram and Facebook posts to redeem free Nasi Marrybrown (Thursday), free Chicken Burger (Friday) and free one-piece MB Crispy Chicken (Saturday).
Marrybrown currently serves millions of customers through more than 500 restaurants across 16 countries.
