SkyWorld to double amount raised from #Bid4Good

The bidding campaign is designed to boost public awareness on the growing needs of the underprivileged homes in the Klang Valley

SKYWORLD Development Group (SkyWorld) has planned to double up the amount raised during its #Bid4Good live bidding event to ensure more homes of the underprivileged would benefit from the campaign.

Skyworld founder and group MD Datuk Ng Thien Phing said the group has raised over RM20,000 during the event last month.

“It is our staff, business associates, purchasers and public’s kind generosity that has contributed to a successful campaign. With the amount raised, we hope it can help them in their daily expenses,” he added.

At the event, the property developer company had offered items from its show units at a low price before channelling the proceeds to selected homes of the underprivileged in the Klang Valley.

The items include kitchen utensils, towels, furniture, electrical appliances, rugs and lightings.

Ng said as a community developer, SkyWorld aims to transform the city into a better place by providing a sustainable Sky Living experience.

“The #Bid4Good is a charity drive to uplift the community by transforming the lives of the underprivileged society.

“This corporate social responsibility initiative is a fun and innovative way of getting Malaysian citizens to support this cause,” he added.

The bidding campaign was designed to boost public awareness on the growing needs of such homes in the Klang Valley.

SkyWorld will organise a mock cheque presentation to the selected homes once the list has been finalised.
