In an exchange filing yesterday, KPS noted that Ahmad Fariz joined the group in April 2015 as head of strategic planning and investment.
He was then named the company’s acting CEO in September 2015, prior to becoming the CEO in May 2016.
KPS also appointed Koay Li Onn (Leon) as its independent and non-ED effective on the same date.
He currently sits on several boards including Bangsawan Group (Singapore and Malaysia) as MD, as well as Worq Co-working Spaces (M) as a board director.
KPS is planning to raise up to RM500 million via an Islamic Medium-Term Notes Programme for general corporate purposes and to refinance the group’s existing borrowing. — TMR
