FIREFIGHTER Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim passed away last night at the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 9.41pm.

The body of the 24-year-old was brought back to his hometown in Kampung Tebengau, Kedah, after final rites and prayers were conducted at IJN last night.

Muhammad Adib was hospitalised after being assaulted during a riot at a temple in Subang Jaya last month. His burial is expected to take place after Zohor prayers today.
