Full-service point-to-point carrier, FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd, which operates as Firefly, yesterday confirmed it will suspend flights into Singapore, effective Dec 1, 2018.

The full subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines Bhd, in its Facebook posting, said the suspension would take effect until relevant authorities clear remaining matters in relation to the Singapore authority’s plan to move turboprop operations from Changi Airport to Seletar on the island.

“Firefly has not been provided any definitive timeline by the authorities for the delay.

“Upon final approval from the authorities, Firefly will then resume its flights into Singapore,” it explained.

In the meantime, the airline said arrangements are being made for all affected passengers. — Bernama
