DNeX secures RM11.56m contracts from BNP

Dagang NeXchange Bhd’s (DNeX) indirect 51%-owned subsidiary, DNeX Telco Services Sdn Bhd, has accepted two contracts from Pt Bina Nusantara Perkasa (BNP) to do repair work on two CS KDDI Pacific Link cable points worth a total RM11.56 million.

One of the contract is for repair works on CS KDDI Pacific Link Segmen 13 & 15 cable in Indonesian water for a contract value of RM5.78 million, while the other contract is to do the same on CS KDDI Pacific Link Sea US cable in Davao, Philippines worth the same amount.

In an exchange filing yesterday, DNeX noted BNP shall pay DNeX Telco for the works based on the actual repair days. Each contract value shall exclude all taxes including but not limited to value added tax/ goods and services tax duties, levies and fees that may be imposed or levied on the charterer in relation to the works.

The projects shall be effective Oct 17, 2018, and shall be valid for a principle of 29 days based on the approved plan of work with an option for extension up to 35 days.
