MST Golf Sdn Bhd has expanded its business portfolio with a new and bold initiative in Shah Alam to consolidate its retail platform.
The new venture is the taking over of the driving range and pro shop at Bukit Jelutong Golf Centre (BJGC).
“MST Golf, the largest golf retailer in South- East Asia, has opened its doors for business at BJGC and is targeting Shah Alam and its surrounding areas,” said the company’s CEO Ng Yap.
“The pro shop features almost all of the world’s leading golf brands and incorporates some of the smaller and newer ones.
“This venture includes equipment, apparel and accessories from well-known names such as Mizuno, Honma, Yamaha, ONOFF, TaylorMade, Titleist, FootJoy, Srixon XXIO, Cobra Puma Golf, Wilson Staff, Antigua, PGA Tour, Adidas, Nike, Cutter & Buck, Under Armour, Stuburt, CK Golf and Bell & Page.”
Ng said the outlet covers an area of 2,100 sq ft, adding that the driving range stretched 250m.
“There are two storeys with 53 bays where golfers can hit balls from. There is also a ball-vending machine, which is a novel facility for early-bird players.”
He added that the academy at BJGC has accredited professional instructors and a junior programme is conducted over weekends.
“This youth programme is to help keen young golfers and develop the sport at national and junior levels,” he said.
“The centre comes with brand-fitting events that are scheduled on a regular basis and immensely useful for players of all skill levels,” said Ng.
