AFFIN Bank Bhd launched its new concept branch that combines digital innovation with the reliability of a traditional branch experience at MyTown Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Affin Bank group CEO Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil (picture) said the new concept will allow customers to be tech savvy with seamless interaction when they transact with the bank irrespective of the channels.
“This flagship concept branch is our first phase of our digital branch to meet this demand.
“We want to give our customers transactional choices and greater convenience with this branch, while ensuring access to advisors who can offer the personal touch and human element that no technology can take away,” he said in a statement.
The new branch also offers free online access and WiFi for customers, interactive digital standees which would allow customers to browse information on the bank’s products and services.
It also has media walls that allow customers to view information about the bank, ‘live’ market updates, global and domestic news, and local weather and time, as well as digital ambassadors that provide customers with assistance on banking needs or enquiries.
Kamarul Ariffin added that Affin Bank will also continue to strive towards more innovation and embrace new forms of technology, to truly put their customers first, edging closer to becoming a premier digital bank in Malaysia.
