PBA Holding Bhd has received a letter from Penang State Secretary, being the Special Shareholder of the company, noting Lim Guan Eng (picture), Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon, Datuk Abdul Malik Abul Kassim and Lim Hock Seng shall cease to hold office as government appointed directors in the company with effect from May 14, 2018.

PBA owns 100% of Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd, the licensed water operator for Penang. 

Chow Kon Yeow shall be re-designated as the chairman of the board of directors of PBA.

Based on the foregoing, PBA, in an exchange filing yesterday, noted its Resolution 3 and Resolution 4 on re-electing Lim Hock Seng and Abdul Malik respectively will not be put forward for voting at the forthcoming 18th AGM to be held on June 28 2018.
