Bina Darulaman group MD passes away

Bina Darulaman Bhd group MD Datuk Izham Yusoff (picture) passed away this morning, at the age of 50.

In a statement today, group corporate communications senior manager Sajahan Abdul Waheed said Izham departed at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur around 8.04am.

He leaves behind his wife, Datin Joani Sofina Othman, aged 49, as well as a son and a daughter.

Izham, who also served as ED for the property development and construction company, had previously been appointed as an independent non-executive director on October 2013, then as a non-independent executive director on February 2014.

He had also been appointed as a member of the Tabung Haji Investment Panel on October 1 last year.

Prior to his involvement with Bina Darulaman, Izham was MD and CEO of Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Bhd from February 2010 to January 2014.

His other roles included ED and COO of Ninebio Sdn Bhd from 2007 to 2010, MD and chief executive of KUB Malaysia Bhd from 2004 to 2007, MD and CEO of Amanah Raya Bhd from 2002 to 2004, and director of Bursa Malaysia Bhd.
