Spritzer Bhd posted a net profit of RM7.3 million, or an earnings per share of 3.95 sen, for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2017, attributed to a short-term investment gain.

In an exchange ling yesterday, the bottled water manufacturer’s turnover for the period stood at RM79.4 million, tapered by high operating costs, below expected sales and the group’s lack of presence in China being a first-time entrant into the market in 2016.

Spritzer proposed a single-tier first and final dividend of 5.5 sen per share subject to shareholders’ approval.
