The alert status of Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia, has been lowered from Level IV to Level III on Saturday and the radius of the danger area reduced from six kilometres to four kilometres, said the Foreign Ministry today.
However, since the status could change within a short time, the Indonesian authorities reminded the public of possible evacuation if the alert level rose.
“Malaysians are advised to take precautionary measures for their own safety, to keep abreast with current local news and abide by instructions issued by the local authorities, it said in a press release here.
