Sime Darby Property Bhd will launch its first boutique apartments and townhouses development in Bukit Jelutong, as the developer seeks to offer sustainable living in Shah Alam.

Called “Rimbun Sanctuary”, the exclusive low-density development will be a key project for Sime Darby Property.

The soft launch of Rimbun Sanctuary has been slated for Jan 28, while the official launch has been planned for early March.

The development comprises 68 units of apartments with a built-up area from 907 sq ft to 1,091 sq ft, and 40 units of townhouses with a built-up area from 1,511 sq ft to 2,151 sq ft. The freehold property, with prices starting from RM677,888 before Bumiputera discounts, offers buyers the pleasure of living away from the hectic life of the city.

Rimbun Sanctuary sits next to a forest reserve and is enhanced by three-tier security features. It is a modern-day sanctuary located away from the township’s mainstream activities.

GM Appollo Leong said the company’s focus is to develop sustainable townships with vibrant communities for future generations, and such concept is evident in matured townships such as Bukit Jelutong.

“We are proud to showcase Rimbun Sanctuary — a modern-day low-density sanctuary located away from the hustle and bustle of city life, where residents can experience and appreciate the vast amount of green spaces provided.

“Our Bukit Jelutong township was envisioned as a township resplendent with parks, gardens and green open spaces for residents to enjoy, and Rimbun Sanctuary fits perfectly with the overall concept of this self-contained township,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The boutique development is designed for homeowners looking for smaller and private spaces, with 24-hour security surveillance and amenities.

Rimbun Sanctuary also has a private clubhouse and recreational facilities such as a jogging track, playground, infinity pool and gym, along with a BBQ area.

The Bukit Jelutong township spans over 890.31ha of prime freehold land and is a low-density township surrounded by greeneries and wider streets, also possessing amenities and accessible public spaces.
