WCT Holdings Bhd has been awarded an elevated highway contract by Kuala Lumpur City Hall worth RM211.52 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the construction and property concern noted the contract will include site clearing, earthworks and drainage works.
Additionally, the filing noted that works are expected to commence today, and slated for completion in 30 months.
The highway will be from the interchange of Sprint Highway/Jalan Maarof to the Sprint Highway/Jalan Semantan road.
On another note, the company said that the contract award requires it to upgrade and modify the road heading in and out of Pusat Bandar Damansara.
Meanwhile, the group’s outstanding construction orderbook is estimated at RM5.6 billion.
