Carat Media Services (M) Sdn Bhd has promoted Karan Tyagi (on left) as its new GM.
The Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd agency has also appointed Kenneth Teh (middle) as its digital head and Zeeshan Khan as a business director.
Having built his forte through 13 years of handling account management, and media planning and buying in the complicated yet evolved market that is India, Tyagi joined Carat Malaysia as a business director in 2014, working on key global client accounts like Mondelez, MasterCard and Wipro Unza.
His promotion is attributed to his drive in continuously improving to stay ahead in this digital age — a trait which is imperative in the next line of leaders, said Carat Malaysia CEO Lorraine Capel in a statement.
“As the industry gets increasingly digitalised, we are transforming the way we work as well, though our focus remains on delivering real business value for our clients.
Karan’s appointment speaks of our company’s ‘new-age’ leadership through the lens of young and dynamic leaders, and is also a step towards future-proofing Carat,” she said.
Teh’s appointment is in support of Dentsu Aegis Network’s vision to be a 100% digital economy business by 2020.
He will be driving digital transformation for clients, the statement said. Zeeshan (on right) is a digital specialist and marketing communications professional with more than 15 years of experience gained from both agency and client ecosystems. — TMR
