Sime Darby Property Bhd will launch its latest residential development, the phase 1 of Elmina Green with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM380 million, next week.

The development which is slated for completion in October 2019 will be located within the new Elmina Green precinct at the City of Elmina, consisting of a 5,000 acre (2,023ha) freehold mixed development with a total GDV of RM24.6 billion.

Sime Darby Property GM Apollo Leong said he is confident that the project will be as successful as the other developments in the township, attributable to high quality workmanship, design and value.

We extended this spirit once again to the development of Elmina Green phase 1,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The residential development will have 187 units of double-storey terrace homes with a built-up area from 2,001 sq ft and above, while all units will include an open-plan floor layout that cultivates the living, dining and kitchen areas, to optimise the usage of space in the homes.

It also includes features of sustainability, security and the usage of environmental friendly resources.

“The homes are fitted with sustainability and wellness features, such as the usage of stone wool insulation materials, to provide a pleasant interior temperature. The units will also have large windows to allow ample natural light and better air ventilation,” it said.

The City of Elmina was developed after much planning to follow guidelines set out by Mercer’s Quality of Life Survey, an internationally recognised standard that measures liveability.

Phase 1 of this development will be located at the centre of the Guthrie Corridor, and will include the townships of Denai Alam, Bukit Subang, Elmina East and Elmina West in Selangor.

The prices will start from RM683,888 before Bumiputera discount, with an early signing rebate as well.
