Naza’s Harley-Davidson dealership ends

Harley-Davidson announced it will be undergoing a dealer refresh in the Malaysia market, in line with the company’s long-term objective to grow its international business to 50% of annual volume.

The company will begin searching for new dealer partners effective immediately, following the end of its current dealership agreement with Naza Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd.

“We would like to thank Naza Prestige Bikes Sdn for close to a decade of partnership in Malaysia operating Harley-Davidson dealerships and building up a loyal customer base,” Harley-Davidson in Greater China, India and Asia Emerging Markets MD Peter Mackenzie said in a statement yesterday.

Naza Prestige Bikes is a subsidiary of the Naza Group of Cos and was the sole authorised dealer for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, motor clothes and parts and accessories in Malaysia.

Naza Group is one of the largest conglomerates, as well as one of the largest luxury vehicle dealers, in the country. — TMR
