Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has made several key senior appointments.
In a statement yesterday, the regulator noted that Kamarudin Hashim has been appointed as ED of the market and corporate supervision business group and will be in charge of overseeing the institution supervision, corporate surveillance, market surveillance and risk analysis departments.
SC added that Salmah Bee Mohd Mydin has been promoted to the position of director of intermediary and fund supervision in charge of supervision of market intermediaries and authorisation and licensing.
Meanwhile, Tengku Zarina Tengku Chik has joined SC as director of corporate resources. Prior to this, she was Malayan Banking Bhd’s head of operational excellence for global banking.
