Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MBM), together with authorised dealer partner MBSA Automotive Malaysia Sdn Bhd, launched the temporary Mercedes-Benz MBSA Autohaus in the historical city of Melaka recently.
With an investment of RM1.2 million, the temporary Mercedes-Benz MBSA Autohaus is part of MBSA’s ongoing RM14 million investment in the brand and service standard for the city of Melaka.
“The launch of Mercedes-Benz MBSA Autohaus is a testament of the successful partner- ship between MBSA and MBM, and also a commitment to our customers to continue strengthening our touch points in the region.
“With a total of RM45 million invested in the southern region, we have five Autohauses that are dedicated to providing customer experience and service like no other,” said MBM president and CEO Dr Claus Weidner in a statement yesterday.
The Mercedes-Benz MBSA Autohaus is located in an expanding part of Melaka with a built-up area of 10,142 sq ft.
The Autohaus is managed by 48 experienced staff and trained to match Daimler AG’s global standards.
According to MBM, the newly launched autohaus is able to display nine vehicles with a customer lounge and an event floor. The Autohaus also offers services from Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd, as well as official Mercedes-Benz accessories and merchandise.
MBSA dealer principal Philip Beng said: “As the only premium authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer in Melaka, we are pleased to showcase an exclusive premium experience to our customers here.”
He added that Melaka is a perfect spot for this expansion due to Melaka’s historical values and the Mercedes-Benz brand heritage, which offers a unique Mercedes-Benz brand experience to its customers.
The new Mercedes-Benz MBSA Autohaus boasts compliance with the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II, which is an Autohaus benchmark. To date, MBM has 31 dealerships nationwide.
