Friday, May 19, 2017

K-One Technology Bhd (K-One Tech) has entered into a memorandum of under-standing with Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd and Malaysian Business Angel Network (MBAN), to jointly identify, nurture and fund startups in the country.

Under the one-year agreement, the electronic computer manufacturer will have access to startups under Cradle to explore mutually beneficial commercial arrangements, while both Cradle and MBAN will have access to K-One Tech-backed startups under its KiasuLab initiative.

The company added that the memorandum is not expected to expose the company to any new business risks, with the arrangement non-binding in nature.

It concluded it will evaluate potential startup investments with due care and diligence when presented with the right opportunities at the appropriate time.
