Allianz partners with AFC

Allianz SE Asia Pacific has established a pan-regional partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to further connect with its customers in key Asian markets and expand its brand presence in the region. “This partnership exemplifies the distinct Allianz values of innovation, courage and excellence,” said Allianz chief distribution officer for Asia Lars Heibutzki. AFC hosts various club tournaments in Asia for football and futsal, which gives Allianz leverage in reaching out to a large audience base in stadiums, as well as via television and on diverse social and digital platforms. Allianz head of market management for Asia Paul Groves said: “We see ourselves supporting the games both at the top championship levels, as well as in nurturing Asia’s next-generation talents with our youth programmes.”
